We still live in Plano, Texas. Jim works 'sort of' part time out of the house. Part of the exercise/music room supports computer servers for GoToLearn. Jim has worked for GoToLearn (www.gotolearn.org) since 2002 supporting the Diagnostic Plus bilingual assessment and tutorial product. He also works for UKnight Interactive doing web development on the web content manager used by Knights of Columbus Councils. Jim has several customers where he makes house calls to help with numerous computer problems. He is always available to help family and friends. Carol retired when her company closed the local office and moved and is primarily doing volunteer work for City House (a.k.a. My Friend's House). She now alternates between two different locations. Both do a lot of volunteer work for Knights of Columbus and Ladies Auxiliary and have been active choir members since 1994. Jim is a member of the church Men's Club and Carol just joined the breavement ministry (she currently helps with tear down after funeral receptions).
We continue to tackle projects around the house. We just decided to paint the wood paneling in the den and eliminate the popcorn ceiling there and in the entry. This has taken a long time to finalize... you know, the love of a wood stained plaque paneled room, versus the dated and dark room with the stain. Along with this we will probably paint the entire inside of the house. The next big project will probably be a brick patio in the far corner of the backyard connected by an addition to the flagstone walkway. We're also thinking about adding a fire pit.

We visit with our sons and their families every chance we get, which is difficult with everyone's busy schedule. Our oldest grandson Zack and wife Ashley presented us with a great grandson Mason in January 2015. Grandson Chance and wife MacKenzie are in the Army, stationed in Hawaii, and presented us with a great granddaughter Braylinn in 2018. That's 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Wow! Since we're coming up on our 50th wedding anniversary in April I guess this is to be expected.
Jim still thinks about more ancestry research but it's sort of reached a stalemate. He just started learning to play guitar and improving his cooking skills via a couple of video courses.
